Design
Every commission starts with your room, not our catalogue. A designer visits or video-calls to take exact measurements, talk through how the space is used, and sketch a piece that fits the footprint you actually have.
Craft
Frames are built in our Johannesburg workshop from kiln-dried hardwood, joined and hand-tied before a single stitch of fabric goes on. Upholsterers pattern-match every seam to the fabric you chose.
Deliver
Finished pieces are wrapped, inspected, and delivered nationwide by our own installation team — not a third-party courier — so the piece that left the workshop is the piece that arrives in your home.

Hand-tied springs
An eight-way tie on every sofa and armchair seat base, the same technique used in traditional upholstery — it holds its shape decades longer than webbing alone.
Kiln-dried hardwood
Frames are built from timber dried to a controlled moisture content, so joints don't loosen or crack as your home's humidity changes through the year.
Pattern-matched upholstery
Fabric is cut and matched across cushions and panels before it's sewn, so a striped linen or a directional velvet reads as one continuous surface.
Hand-finished joinery
Timber pieces — tables, wall units, cabinets — are joined and finished by hand, with a hand-rubbed oil or lacquer finish applied in the workshop, not sprayed off-site.

- How long does a custom piece take to make?
- Most upholstered pieces — sofas, armchairs, beds and headboards — take 6 to 8 weeks from the day the design is approved. Timber pieces such as dining tables, credenzas and wall units take 8 to 10 weeks. Your lead time is confirmed in writing when the order is placed.
- Can you build furniture to my exact measurements?
- Yes. Every commission starts with your room rather than a catalogue size. A designer measures on site or by video call, and the piece is built to that footprint — wall-to-wall headboards and fitted wall units are made to your wall width.
- What fabrics and finishes can I choose?
- Boucle, linen and performance velvet are the most requested upholstery fabrics, and a wider range is available to view in the showroom. Fabric is pattern-matched across cushions and panels before it is sewn. Timber is finished by hand with a rubbed oil or lacquer in our workshop rather than sprayed off-site.
- Do you deliver outside Johannesburg?
- Yes — we deliver anywhere in South Africa. Finished pieces are wrapped, inspected and delivered by our own installation team rather than a third-party courier, so the piece that leaves the workshop is the piece that arrives in your home.
- Where can I see the furniture in person?
- At our showroom in Fourways Mall, Johannesburg, open Monday – Saturday 09:00 – 20:00 and Sunday 09:00 – 17:00. Manufacturing happens at our own factory in Roodepoort, Johannesburg, where we control quality and consistency end to end.
- Do you take on commercial and hospitality projects?
- Yes. Alongside high-end residential interiors we furnish apartment hotels and hospitality developments, including projects beyond South Africa's borders. Volume pricing and project lead times are quoted per development.
- How much does custom furniture cost?
- Each piece is quoted individually, because size, fabric, timber and finish all move the price. Send us the room, the piece and rough dimensions on WhatsApp or through the contact page and a member of the design team replies with a quote within one business day.
